Fish Tacos - Home made
Fish Preparation:
1-2 lbs Fish Fillets - salmon, cod, tilapia or any fish fillet
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1-2 tsp paprika (adjust according to taste)
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp cumin
1 egg
4 tbsp vegetable oil
- Mix all dry ingredients well for seasoning
- Cut fish fillets into bite-sized cubes
- Drench cubed fish into egg, then into seasoning.
- Place into warmed vegetable oil, cooking one side at a time.
- Drain well onto paper towel.
Sauce:
2 Green pepper - stripped
1 Red Pepper - stripped
2 cloves garlic
1/2 medium onion
1 cup shredded cabbage
1 fresh tomato - diced or 1/2 can diced tomato
1 jalapeno (optional)
salt to taste
- Fry in vegetable oil, onion, garlic, and jalapeno peppers.
- Add tomatoes and fry until slightly saucy.
- Add cabbage, green pepper, and red peppers.
- Add cooked fish.
- Add salt to taste.
- Spoon over warmed tortilla
- Add toppings as desired.

lettuce (shredded)
